Who is Pink Panda?
Pink Panda (they/she) is a street artist and painter celebrated for their bold, vibrant use of colour and intricate line work that brings to life an eclectic mix of pop culture, the whimsical side of nature, and fantastical creatures. Deeply inspired by urban art, music, and cartoons, Pink Panda's work also reflects their journey of self-exploration, connecting with their emotions and Chinese heritage.
In the warmer months, they can often be found longboarding around Winnipeg, leaving chalk drawings for passersby and performing live “pop-up” painting installations. These temporary art pieces embody their mantra of “Be in the moment” and serve as a reminder of the beauty in letting go.
Pink Panda has showcased their work in two successful solo exhibitions and several group shows, with an upcoming solo show slated for 2025. Beyond exhibiting their art, they enjoy sharing their passion as a guest artist at schools, organizations, events, and summer camps, engaging with audiences of all ages. Each summer, Pink Panda also hosts inclusive spray paint workshops, inviting participants to explore creativity in a welcoming, vibrant environment.
